Campbell & Levine's public finance practice was established in 2009 with the addition of veteran practitioners who brought over 25 years of experience working on a wide variety of public sector financings. Our lawyers focus their practice on financing the growth and development needs of government, non-profit organizations, public agencies and private enterprise.
As are many of the lawyers at Campbell & Levine, the attorneys in our public finance group are recognized leaders in their field. Over the years, they have successfully served as counsel in connection with general obligation and revenue bond issues, tax increment and other special tax-backed bond financings, private activity bonds, municipal leases and numerous other financings for public sector clients. Their work also includes borrowings for healthcare, higher education, social service, cultural institutions and other non-profit agencies.
For the private, for-profit sector, Campbell & Levine's public finance practitioners have been instrumental in putting together public-private partnerships that aim to achieve community development goals. Their work with private real estate developers, lenders and redevelopment agencies challenges us to create and help implement the innovative agreements that are called for when the public and private sectors work together.
We are listed in The Municipal Marketplaces' Red Book as nationally recognized bond counsel. In addition to serving as bond counsel, we also serve as counsel to underwriters, issuers, trustees, lenders and borrowers in both publicly offered and privately placed financings.
