Shannon M. Clougherty joined the Pittsburgh Office of Campbell & Levine, LLC in 2008. Ms. Clougherty concentrates her practice in the areas of Section 524(g) asbestos settlement trusts, general bankruptcy litigation including adversary matters and commercial litigation.
Ms. Clougherty has experience in both state and federal courts in complex commercial litigation in the areas of construction law and surety contracts, insurance coverage litigation, and contract disputes and in the area of intellectual property litigation, including patent litigation. Her experience also includes practice in the areas of products liability, and general tort litigation.
Ms. Clougherty received her J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law in 2001, where she served as a member on the Duquesne Law Review. In 1994 she graduated from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, with a B.A. in English and Political Science. While in law school, Ms. Clougherty received the CALI Award for excellence in Pennsylvania Civil Procedure and while at Case Western Reserve, Ms. Clougherty was on the Dean’s Honors List.
She is admitted to practice before the Pennsylvania State Courts and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. She is a member of Allegheny County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
